Postgraduate

Hello everyone! I'm going to talk about a postgraduate course in the future... I insist about restoration course, I think is important keeping studying after university at least for me, I enjoy learning especially about arts.Nevertheless, I understand that I can search course related painting, sculpture, or technology courses.

In the future, I want to work n places related to antique buildings and of course, restoration centers. 
The probably subject that I would like to study is associated with chemistry, history, laboratory, painting, sculpture, differents theory about conservation and restoring, on top of that the skills that should learn and use.

I have friends who are learning restoration at my university, they say the teacher are really good, she has a long career in this matter. Bearing this in mind, I can study after my grade here too. As far as a study " abroad" or "Chile" is concerned, I would like to do a course in another country, since I was a child I wanted to study outside... mmm I don't know why.

Currently, there are many ways to study, for example, distance learning, part-time course... I have looked many websites about an online course with the certificate from the university, personally, I'm not very disciplined with being working on a computer and also at my house, I should being outside or in some library.

In short, I'm just dreaming, I ned to work first and earn money and then see if I can pay a course.

My favorite piece of art

Hello classmate, today I'm going to talk about my favorite piece of art...but in my view, choose something that we call "favorite" it changes every time because rather "preferred" depend on of the moment in your life. In this case, This oil painting " la lectura" from Cosme San Martin. 

This painter was born in Valparaiso, Chile, in 1850, he studied in the painting academy and then he won a scholarship for study in Europe, after all, he came back and he was the first Chilean director of the Academy.  

When I saw it for the first time  I stayed front in this picture for a long time, I was still a school girl.  I Liked because It seemed to me being in the scene, firstly I imagined the characters moving, in some way listening in my mind what she is reading to her family, then the little boy playing on the floor. also the people pay attention, look that old man watching her daughter, very concentrated and his sister too. This naturalist painting was a  typical family scene in the second half of the XIX century. 

Apart from this, in general,  I like being so close to the oil canvas, if I can ... of course  and see how is painted, the brushstroke, the colors.For me is special, every time when I see this painting, I found something new or I change the movements in my mind, Now I miss this picture because isn't in a museum, their other exposition, I haven't seen for a long time scene. I hope the next year come back again.

English Language Challenges

In my opinion,  These two years learning English at university wasn't  kind of satisfactory, because I hoped that this different period ( university) English were more productive , I know that depends by  ourself but I can recognize ,making blogs it's a really good skill, at least for me because it force  you  thinking and writing in English.
every blog's class you must in just one hour complete the work about different subjects. 
Definitely,  our Thursday class should have been two hours or two more classes , in that class we were talking in a group, it was fun.

When I was at school , we studied for  four years the same things , every class, ( present, the past , future ) I like studied but we were a few student who takes care the class.  I always liked different languages , It's true that I could do better, I mean put in practice all the aspect of learning English. I need to improve learning verbs and speak with someone, for example,  when I am traveling ,  it's normal to meet people  and put in  practice all that you know but I fail with the vocabulary  and I'm a shy person respect talking in another language.
I must read more , I always turn on the tv and listening movies or  news programs ( bbc , cnn) , also I should search English websites , there's a lot of pages about learning vocabulary, doing  exercise  or talk with myself like a monolog.

When I was at home I read my art's book and not often I use the dictionary , I should be , but I don't do it . In general,  every day I read at least one page In English. 
In short,  I MUST practice!!!!

study programme career

During my career  I have 13 subjects , In general, there are  recurring subjects  every year , per example, in my specialty " painting" during  three years, also drawing. In my first year, I had "color" , "drawing","volume", "history" , a little subject called " medial" , reprography and programs on computer implicated with photography, edition , photoshop, movies.

This year I have 8 subjects, aesthetic, painting, drawing , history, English , culture management, semiotics and " medial"   what includes , cinematics and photography,

Every year changed theoretical  subjects, In my opinion, I think my career  department must include another course of study or least let us takes others subject,  parallel that  from our specialty. even so , I talked with a sculpture teacher because I wanted to learn to sculpt techniques and all this semester I had been there, I have to be organized with my time but  I enjoyed. I think its kind of hard .. depend on your time, for me , theory it's a little complicated,  I like reading but for the college ,I study late , that's not good.. almost time the last days.,  I know that I have to change that .

In general, the teaching methods for me are fine. depend on us  too. I have some friend like photography course, who doesn't have a good method...

My faculty isn't bigger , the places external are and calm , all the trees , being and lay down on the grass. The studios are antique factories , I really like, I love industrial architecture, for others is ugly, depressing , for me not  but it's true, our faculty is the most forgotten than engineering buildings in Republica.

I want and with  an automatic teller machine or another way to pay at university :(  , also a recreation room and many many couches for sleeping. Oh, I remembered , I always claiming about the library must let free space for choosing a book , and other words , like when you go to some bookshop and your safe choose or see some pages . I mean , I don't like to look for some book on the computer, I want  to be free in the bookcase.

In short , I'm so happy in my faculty, especially  in rainy days..,all the grays hallways and old trees.
 

next summer

This summer I'm going to Europe , for two months . This trip is gonna be my first time in that continent , I'm so excited  , I'm going with my best friend , he is Americo, he will go for business course,  their classes during 3 weeks in January,  unless  in Italy I'm gonna stay three weeks, I don't know what about him, we go and back together, we come back the first week  on march , we rent an apartment near from train station, you can arrive at Venice in just 40 minutes. I'm so happy,moreover I would like to  visit differents village or the famous cities , Florence, Bologna, Roma, Verona and who knows other cities. I don't want to plan all my summer, In my dream, I talk to myself and I  say , you must try and visit every place, but I woke up ...I know that I can't , I prefer to  take advantage in some city , I don't want to be too fast, although in Bruges , Belgium I'm going to stay just one day, mmm maybe not . one night jaja , and Brussels too. next step Amsterdam. oh I forgot it when I finish my three weeks in Italy, then I'll fly to Paris, there I will go to museums , walking around the town , I'm a little nervous, on this trip I'm traveling alone, however,  I  don't know if my friend wants to go with me , he said  that he wants to join with me in Amsterdam, but who knows...

In this trip to Italy, I'm going to visit my friend'mother in Rapallo in Genova  and a friend of mine ,  in Bologna. My friend Americo has  family in Trento, I hope to go  with him  and visit their family.

In short, I can't imagine all the beautiful things  and places that I will meet . every " gelato" or biscuit  that I'm going to eat . I love the idea of being with different nationalities ,  listen to different language , I could practice my English and my Italian. I'm ready for this experience , in fact,  being in museums , and see sculptures , painting it's gonna make feel so fantastic.

Two month is not much time to visit all the cities that I want. but such is life ...

work in some future

Someday I would like to work in restoration and conservation here in Chile or some country, I dream in Europe...  since I was a child I wanted to work in a place that you can take a train and next , you are in other country in a few hours. I think work indoors doesn't problem with me, but if you can complement with an outdoors job, it would be awesome .I love traveling, one day  I want  to have a son ... I could not  travel a lot, maybe if you take your children and go to work and enjoy a new city,  meanwhile

 i don't have children , I want to work in some studio, restoring furniture , pictures, sculpture also  in some museum or a place dedicate to conservation. I dream with that,  of course I want to painting too , if i do well my job, great!!! . 

I've read some  pages on internet, and are different opinions , some people say there's not a lot of money , other say yes , depends about your work  and your "curriculum". 

Now I'm studying painting, and next year I gonna take an elective subject, called.... restoration!!! jaja and if I stay in student exchange, i took the same subject , but just theory and some aoutdoors classes, we could go to church and specialized office. 

It's a kind of uncertain study art's in general 

i think, ,you see  an engineer and you know that him will have a job destined. but here... oh lala .

 I love my career.

There are many movies that I would recommend it, but some movies are  a little bit childish or movies that had a great impact on me when I was teenager.

But today I'm going to writte about Before sunrise. This film I watched for the first time when I was around 12 and 16 years old.The movie is from 1995, is an american film and the gender... for some people is romantic or dramatic. theres two movies more. this is the first!!!  

It's about one french girl and one american boy, they meet for the first time on the train, she was reading and him too. The story talk about this couple who stoped in Vienna , they know each other in one day, they discuss about many topics like death , life , projects or just  from themselves. 

I recommend it , because the photograph that they used for the movie is interesting , just one "shoot" , behind or forward from they , you always watching  like if you were front from them, without  any interruptions between each scene .

Also the landscape from Vienna city. Is a beautiful place, you can listen talking in different lenguage , like the protagonist, she speaks in french, I love this movie for their  subjects  traveling , differents cultures, romance and just the action of meet someone and  talk with him, it's like you where there sharing that moment and places. Every time that I watched , it make me dream. 

Pets

Since I was a child I remember that I've had pets, always cats, when I was 5years old I had a little dog , I don't remember his name ,but he dies early. and then I had "niki " but he run away.

Now I have seven cats and one dog. With my mom , we love choose fun name's, like.. Tiziano , Rodin, Cézanne , José Tomás , Canela, Agatha y Agustina , my dog Caruso like the tenor singer. 

In the future I probably would like to have birds again , I like " catitas"  , or some fishes, I love them, maybe my beautiful cat's will eat them. Also an other dog , a pug dog... they are so cute and the sound  that they make it . I just love it. 

If I have to choose what pets I like the most , I prefer cats, always , they are so independent, if they need affection , they go where you are and say miau, and you just touch them, for me , doing that makes me happy and grateful .

 I know people that have exotic pets, I'm not so agree, I think that animals must live in their own habitat, It's true that exist people who care of them , never the less, people have them too  for just fun and doesn't care about their life and food, just for the pictures. 

I really enjoy arrived at my house and play with my pets family, they are special for me. 
 

holidays...

One of my best holiday's was when I went to Lima,Perú with my bestfriend last summer, she is Ignacia, I met her  at school. I went for two month's and she just a month. My grandmother lives there since  fifty years ago . It was my real first time spend with her ,because I've always stayed there just one or two  weeks when I'm with my mother.

In january we went out many times, My friend didn't know about some typical places, she once  went to Lima with her mother , but for a weekend,  so she couldn't visit all the city. We visited museums, bar's , famous squares. Lima is so cheap, you can eat in a  good restaurant just for $30 soles... "$5000 pesos" , but those good restaurant's here in Chile , you pay $8000 or $10.000. We enjoyed street food, hot corn or ceviche or different food's only for 10 soles ,"$2000" .

Also we went to Cusco, this it was my second time there, first with my mom, and now with my friend, and that was awsome, we walked a lot, It's a beautiful city with many heritage places ,old history , many pub's too  or hostel's when you can meet different peolple from around the world, that experience It was important to me,as well as we went to Machu picchu, we get there in a panoramic view train. the landscape's oh.. nothing to say.   

In february I was with out my friend, but I had my grandmother , aunt and my little cousin. A family holidays.... it has been one of my favorite summer, also a took sculpter and painting class , I learned a lot. I really enjoyed being there, walking alone around unknown streets, capturing all, nice and bad things or moments.

I want to come back to my beautiful perú.

This year I'm going to apply for an student exchange , I want to go to Bologna- Italy , that country it's my first option, if they don't choose me I have two option more, barcelona and madrid.

Always I have wanted go to Italy since when I was a child . My mom  work's with italien so... always I heard stories about the culture, people, food , all the sculpture in the street, they told me that italy or europe in general is a open museum , also that  italien people are passionate about their own tradition or food , I Think that's the typical stereotype , but if themself told me that they are like that , maybe it's true.

If I go there, I want to go to different cities if I can, just take a train , and observe all the typical landscape but walk in some old village too , visit all museums and eat delicius food.  

 

Of course I would live there for  one year or more, but first  I must study and then I'm going to analyze if is good idea live there.  

 

Auto biography

  

   I was born on 29th of march, 1994. in the city of santiago . now, I'm 22 years
   old, I don't have any brothers, I've always lived here... in santiago, first I lived in ñuñoa two years, with my parents and then we moved  to San miguel untill now, but my father left my home, they separated when I was 5 years old ,from there  I live  with my mother and my  beautifull cats and one dog . Concerning about my father, I see him a lot, he lives with my grandparents and live so near from my university, so ,when I finisih late , I go there.

I studied in three school , one primary school and two high schools.I Have beautifull remembers, I have very good friends who I met there,now I'm studing arts at  Chile university , it's very fun , I really like being learning something new everyday.  we're free to do whatever we want .My "speciality" is painting , but Im taking sculp class too.

When I'm stay at my  house I enjoy watching tv, reeding a book, drawing , being in my garden and see my cats, but when I'm go out I love  walking around downtown, observe the people in the subway or some square . I like going to  antique places to buy stuff alone or with my mother , she loves too. It fun  searching a lot of things like pictures or furniture.
